Photography and Bloglovin

Over the weekend I finally got to catch up on one of my hobbies; photography. I really like doing photography, mainly nature and macro photography but I don’t always have time to do it. I recently visited some blogs through bloglovin and found some good tips doing selfie photography. Yes, something I’ve never done, or at least not outside instagram on my Iphone ;).

Since I haven’t really worked with the timer on my camera a lot and because I’m contemplating getting a remote for my next trip, I decided to go and try some selfies with the timer option, just to see if it would be just as easy to work with as a remote. I’ve come to the conclusion that a) it’s a lot easier to work with a remote than the timer, I’m sure of that and b) I always find something wrong with photos of myself

Because I want to get passed option B, I decided I should post a photo online. I have to admit I did adjust the photo a bit, but only turning it to black and white while keeping the colour of my shirt, hat and flower pot as is. It’s not a bad photo, considering I used a timer and had to run to get back into my spot but I’m sure I can take better ones once I get the timer. Not just posed selfies like this one, but also during my travels and I’m in places with no one around to take photos of me (like when I was in Iceland)

I mentioned Bloglovin in this post before. It’s sort of a social network for blogs and a RSS reader in one. I find it very easy to collect blogs I like into different categories and keep track of the posts through the RSS app on my phone. If I want to comment on  a post it’s very easy to go to a site and do so. So yes, I love Bloglovin!
